In 2019, MHT completed 25 years of its establishment. In the last two decades MHT has worked in more than 30 cities in India and across South Asia, partnering with communities and local governments to deliver tangible improvements in housing and infrastructure in lower income urban settlements. Our work has positively impacted the lives of 2 million individuals. We have also influenced large-scale policy reform including delinking land tenure from service delivery, State Slum Redevelopment Policy in Gujarat, instituting a cool roof program in Ahmedabad and a strategy for citywide water management and revival of wells in Amalner.
