Bharati Bhonsale is a civil engineer and heads Mahila Housing Trust’s Housing, Water and Sanitation programs in Ahmedabad, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. She has an experience of 25 years in managing and implementing Slum Upgradation Projects emphasizing on Water, Sanitation and Housing projects. She has expertise in organizing and planning of Swach Sarvekshan activities based on SBM guidelines and liaisoning with the government. She has extensive knowledge of planning Byelaws for low-income housing and Heritage precincts. Her knowledge bank also includes extensive implementation of the PMAY (U) in Gujarat. Her portfolio includes conducting social audits and relationship building with the Urban Local Bodies.
