Dipika Vadgama’s major r esponsibilities include mobilizing construction women workers, interpreting their needs and providing them need based skill upgradation trainings. She has contributed for developing technical modules for training the women construction workers and technical staff of MHT. She led the functions at Karmika School for Construction Workers in collaboration with CIDC (Construction Industry Development Council) and IGNOU (Indira Gandhi Open University).

She has also led the Water and Sanitation portfolios.
