Ahmedabad: More but Different Government for “Slum Free” and Livable Cities
This paper is a product of the Finance Economics and Urban Department, Sustainable Development Network. It is part of a larger effort by the World Bank to provide open access to its research and make a contribution to development policy discussions around the world. It analyzes real estate market dynamics over the past decade in the city of Ahmedabad, India, with a view to improving the living conditions of the large population living in slums.
