Parivartan and Its Impact: A Partnership Programme of Infrastructure Development in Slums of Ahmedabad City

The Parivartan Slum Upgradation Programme was launched in 1995 by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC), with the objective of improving basic physical infrastructure within the slums, enhancing the process of community development, and building a city level organisation for environmental upgradation. This is an impact study of the Parivartan Programme, of Ahmedabad City, in which, MHT was a leading partner.
