Monsoon Action plan

Monsoon Action Plan is a joint document that consists of a series of strategic actions which has been co-developed by women leaders and other stakeholders including Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. The plan will be implemented by women leaders with the support of other stakeholders in 3 wards of Ahmedabad (Behrampura, Vastral and Vejalpur wards) to avoid flooding/inundation and the plan will also contribute towards malaria reduction benefitting 50000 individuals approximately in these wards. The objective of the plan is to make slum people of 3 wards resilient towards climate change stresses through women empowerment and creating sustainable models for future impact.
